Hearts Flourish at Pomfret Community School
Students and staff are showing their appreciation in an artful way this year. The halls are lined with hand drawn hearts as a way to show their appreciation to the essential workers in their lives. Art Teacher Ana Lameiro coordinated the project.

The Holiday Shop made $958. This will go towards things like funding field trips and events for the students, enrichment items such as any needed class supplies, and providing teachers and staff with lunch at the beginning of the year and during Teacher Appreciation week. The Pomfret Community School community would like to extend their gratitude to the PTO .
Wreaths Across America in Pomfret
After learning about the volume of rectangular prisms, the 5th graders created animal creatures out of different sized rectangular boxes. They computed the volumes of all the different sized boxes then found the total volume of their animal creature. When they finished their calculations, they decorated and embellished their animal creatures.
